Butterick B5895 is a MUST HAVE for a vintage inspired wardrobe.

If you get the opportunity to snatch up B5895 and make it for yourself, you won’t regret it. The hardest part about this piece is the collar, but my newest YouTube video shows you step by step how to make it happen. When filming this video, I especially tried to make sure there were multiple shots of areas that may cause some confusion. The majority of the top is straight forward, though.

After shooting, I realized B5895 was the last project my Ride or Die sewing machine will be able to handle! After a long battle with the zig zag setting, I’m deciding to call it quits and use this as a back up machine. Unfortunately, it can only do a straight stitch on the right hand needle position and no longer sews on the left or center positions. I’ll be replacing it with a (new to me) Kenmore sewing machine which you’ll see me using in the future.

With that said, I could definitely use some feedback on my videos! What works, what doesn’t work, or even if they’re up your alley! And if you haven’t all ready, please subscribe to the channel– it would really mean a lot to me!
